The areas I meant to mention but forgot were still catered to during the full body 🥹 I felt very comfortable and relaxed to the point I fell asleep a few times. I’m ashamed of the way I drove home just to get in the bed 😅 Thank you so much, Samuel. As we both know it was well needed. Please book here with him‼️Deanna Anderson2024-06-26The spa is very clean, and the staff is very inviting. I’ve only had nail service with this spa twice now. The nail techs were very polite and friendly. However, this is the second time I felt unsatisfied with the completion of my nails. The first time the gel polished lifted after a couple days. I originally wanted dip this time since the gel obviously was a waste of money. After the booking staff spoke with the nail tech, I was encourage to try their special gel polish which is suppose to last longer. The fee for the special gel was waived due to the previous situation. The issue I have with my nail service today is that my nails does not look like I got a fresh manicure today. I strongly dislike them and I did let the nail tech know. She added clear gel to smooth out the bumps (which did not work) and tried to put a third, or so, coat of polish on but I stopped her. It’s already thick, patchy, and bumpy more polish would have made it worse. My full nail is not even covered 😩 there is no way it should look like I need my nails retouched and I just got them done 2 hrs ago 😭 the nail tech was asking me throughout the service was everything fine and I told her the concerns I had. She did try very hard to fix them but couldn’t. I really wanted to like this spa which is why I gave them a second try. I will not be going back for nail service because this is the second time my nails did not come out right and left feeling like I’ve wasted money. It was THE BEST massage I have EVER had. The location was perfect, the staff was wonderful. They were incredibly gracious and empathetic and it really alleviated my frustration. They take great pride in their establishment and I'm thankful to have heard from them. I want to preface this by saying that all the massages I've had here have been wonderful! BUT my experience today (3rd time here) altered my overall opinion, which makes me sad. During my previous visit, I asked the receptionist how to book the private sauna (not the public one downstairs). She said to call and specifically ask for time in there, it's in the couples massage room. Perfect! My husband loves saunas and I wanted to treat him to a spa day anyway. So i called 3 weeks in advance and asked for a couple's massage and that we also wanted some time in the sauna in that room. They said yes, got us booked, and as I was ending the call I asked again, just to clarify, "and then we'll save some time in the sauna that's in that room, right?" I felt silly, but i was adamant about making sure we could both use the same private sauna together and not the gendered public ones off the gym locker rooms. Whoever I talked to on the phone confirmed. We were excited. I've been looking around the DTC, Centennial, and Parker area for a spa with a sauna. It's hard to find a place that has it all (spa, massages, and sauna). We love the Beer Spa downtown, but no formal massages beyond the massage chairs. Like I said at the top, I've come before and had a massage by myself and they've been amazing. I wanted to treat my husband to a day out. The couple's massage was great. At the end they told us to "take our time getting up" but they had back to back appts so they needed to get the room cleaned up. I told them we had time in the sauna. They said no. So i went to go talk to the receptionist up front. I knew we weren't gonna have time in the sauna today, but I wanted to ask how could I have been better and more clear about booking the private sauna? I repeated my phone call interaction with her. She seemed very unsure and while she was apologetic, it didn't seem super genuine. The thing is, I chose this spa specifically because it has everything we want. I don't want to stop going here, but I felt dismissed. Also, why should our asks be overlooked just because the receptionist i talked to on the phone didn't schedule our appt correctly? We're paying customers just like the people waiting for the room after us. She didn't say anything after we had changed and were checking out. No other last minute apology or sign of empathy. No offer to take off $10 on our next visit or something like that. I'm not looking for a discount, but I'm frustrated that I did everything I could to be clear and it didn't seem like anyone there even cared about their mistake. In the grand scheme of things, I get that what I'm upset about is trivial, BUT we are paying customers, I have recommended this place to friends, family, and coworkers, and my husband and we really only treat ourselves to spa days a few times a year. Emily gave an incredible facial, my skin was so dry when I went in and I left glowing and hydrated. Erin gave an amazing massage and did some much needed glute work I didn’t know how much I needed. I really appreciated how she took the time to hear where all my aches were and understanding what causes them. She really put me at ease and gave me some great "after massage" advice.
